Is August over already?!?
It feels like the summer keeps getting shorter and shorter. Super thankful we still have NO SMOKE though!!! August was packed full of events, tours, and all kinds of fun! But September has a lot in store for us as well. We'll tell you all about it if you just keep on reading below.
But first, an important note: Do you LOVE the Micro Mobility Lanes in Downtown Reno? We sure do and we really really want to keep them! In order to do that we need your feedback! PLEASE take a couple of minutes to fill out this survey telling the City of Reno how much you love the lanes… and hey don’t forget to leave a little comment that you would really like to see cars taken completely off Virginia Street to make it all bike and pedestrian friendly!

🍺BREWERY DISTRICT TOUR UPGRADE
We added two new stops for your tasting delight. Last month we told you that we added Imbib Custom Brews as a stop for you to learn how sours are made. Well now you get to stop at Imbib AND The Depot Brewery & Distillery! Not that there is a “beer season", but fall is a great time to think about riding around in a pedicab and drinking beer at some of Reno's finest breweries!

⚡️BIG NEWS: ULTIMATE RENO TOUR DEBUT⚡️
We rolled out our BIGGEST TOUR YET in August. This tour jam packed with everything to do in town that screams RENO! You get to try climbing the famous Guinness Book of World Records' Tallest Artificial Climbing wall at Base Camp. If you've ever taken a selfie or a stroll past the iconic Reno Arch, you know this big wall, it’s right next to the arch and looks over all of Reno! Our fabulous and fearless leader Jaime attempted and conquered the wall to test out this stop and she reported back "if I can do it, so can you."
Here she is pedaling under that same famous arch with a couple guests, and if you look close you can see the wall in the background (top right). Not so scary-- in fact the views from the top are stunning!

Looking Forward: "A Night Out..." Tours Return!
Last month we were busy growing pineapples...NOT! Actually we were busy rolling out (ha, ha get it? rolling? 🚲 ) fun new tours for you and we aren’t stopping this month. We're starting back up with our monthly "A Night Out" Tours that feature different local food and drink stops. Plus, there are a bunch of events this month that you'll find us at. Read on for all the deets...
A "GAME" NIGHT OUT TOUR
For the month of September we're offering our Game Night Out Tour! Guests will be shuttled to three different stops with opportunities for you to play several games! We're giving you drinks at Bar 'N Games and The Eddy, plus $5 worth of quarters and every adult's favorite "adult beverage" at Playfield 76.

🤹♂️FIRST THURSDAYS IN MIDTOWN - SEPTEMBER 1
We will see you again THIS Thursday to give you FREE Pedicab rides all over MidTown. There are tons of events going on including free mini cupcakes at Batch Cupcakery, 1/2 off boozy milkshakes at the Arch Society, and music at the Nevada Museum of Art just to name a few! 🎨RENO TAHOE INTERNATIONAL ART SHOW - SEPTEMBER 8-11
The Art Event we have all been waiting for (well after Burning Man of course) is finally here! From September 8-11 hundreds of local and international artists will be going a complete takeover of the Convention Center. Accompanying this event here will tons of fun music and art happenings! On September 9th we will be kicking off the event with a concert at Cargo and are offering FREE pedicab rides to the the show!

NEVADA HUMANITIES LITERARY CRAWL - SEPTEMBER 10
This year’s Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl features dozens of readings of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry on and around California Avenue, workshops, panel discussions, art, family-friendly activities, and a few surprises!
We are soooo excited about this creative event! Join us for a festival of books, ideas, and the humanities as we bring people together to celebrate the rich literary talent throughout our region. Access to all events is free, and all ages are welcome to participate.

DUTCH CYCLING EMBASSY IN RENO - SEPTEMBER 12-14
The Netherlands has the highest bicycle use in the world, and the Dutch Cycling Embassy is committed to sharing their knowledge in policy and solutions to facilitate cycling worldwide. This is a great event for engineers and other people wanting to learn about how we can improve bike infrastructure here in Reno.
SOOOO.... In honor of the event, we will be holding a FREE bike ride Sept 12th 5-8pm! We will be meeting at McKinley Arts Center at 925 Riverside Dr. to ride our bikes to the Patagonia Outlet in Downtown Reno, where Patagonia will be giving away free stuff for anyone that rides a bike to the event! Pedicabs will be there giving free rides and there will also be free beer, wine, snacks and a free screening of Together We Cycle.
